Alina Hemm

Consultant

Alina Hemm is a Consultant at Seek Development. She brings sectorial experience in gender, conflict management, and human rights, gained over several years of work experience in the field of global development and foreign policy. As part of the Germany country expert team at SEEK, she supports international clients from private foundations, NGOs, and multilaterals with strategic advocacy and resource mobilization efforts.  

Prior to joining SEEK, Alina interned at the advocacy department of Human Rights Watch, at the German Parliament, and the Bureau for Institutional Reform and Democracy - a development consultancy in the field of democratic governance and institutional strengthening. Additionally, she also volunteered as the head of public relations in an Ethiopian women's rights organization. 

Alina holds a Joint Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Kent and the University of Marburg and a Bachelor’s degree in Governance and Public Policy from the University of Passau, where she focused on international relations and human rights.
