Alina Hemm is an intern at Seek Development where she is a member of the Donor Tracker project and the Advocacy Germany team.
Alina brings to SEEK, her sectorial experience in gender, global development, and human rights. Prior to joining Seek, Alina interned at the advocacy department of Human Rights Watch, at the German Parliament, and at the Bureau for Institutional Reform and Democracy - a development consultancy in the field of democratic governance and institutional strengthening. Additionally, she also volunteered as the head of public relations in an Ethiopian women's rights organization.
Alina holds a Joint Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies degree from the University of Kent and the University of Marburg and a Bachelor’s in Governance and Public Policy degree from the University of Passau, where she focused on international relations and human rights.
