SEEK, together with Policy Cures, developed this research report to assess EU funding to poverty-related and neglected diseases (PRND). Despite being the third-largest public funder of neglected disease R&D, the report finds that the EU's past investments have not been as effective as they could be, and offers recommendations for future improvements to its funding strategy.
Die Entwicklung der deutschen ODA-Quote bis 2020: Wie aus Anspruch Realität werden kann
SEEK led an analysis commissioned by the development NGO umbrella organization VENRO that projects how Germany's ODA will develop until 2020. The VENRO study was presented to the Bundestag.
Rethinking the Global Health System
SEEK developed a report on the global health architecture in the post-2015 era in collaboration with Chatham House. The report examines the fit-for-purpose of the global health system in light of emerging challenges in the post-2015 era and identifies priority areas for reform.
Estimating the costs and benefits of education from a health perspective
SEEK prepared this report, commissioned by Norad, to investigate the costs and benefits of education in terms of the impact it has on health outcomes. The report is particularly relevant in the post-2015 development environment that seeks to examine broader determinants of health. It finds that the returns on investing in education for girls are huge, for example in the correlated reduction in infant mortality.
