The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health: 2015 Accountability Report
SEEK developed the 2015 accountability report of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH). The report includes lessons learned and future directions on accountability for the health of women, children, and adolescents. The report was presented at the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly in September 2015; this is the 4th accountability report commissioned by PMNCH.
Reorienting health aid to meet post-2015 global health challenges: a case study of Sweden as a donor
SEEK contributed to this analysis of contemporary health challenges being faced since the adoption of the SDGs, and the health development funding that will be most effective in dealing with them. The report uses Sweden as a case study to make recommendations for reorienting health aid to best tackle global health challenges to 2030.
Germany, the G7 and Global Health
SEEK jointly published an editorial with UCSF in BMJ entitled "Germany, the G7 and Global Health". The piece discusses the empirical relevance of G7/G8 summits on investments in health and called on Germany and the G7 to use the summit in Germany to push for gains in global health.
With the goal of keeping stakeholders accountable for meeting their commitments to the Global Strategy, this fourth annual report finds that donors are largely fulfilling their pledged financial contributions, but still more needs to be done. The report makes recommendations for continued resource mobilization beyond 2015 to keep on track to meeting reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH) goals.
