Elke Schmidt (she/her) is the Senior Finance Manager at SEEK Development. She brings management and finance expertise gained over 15 years of professional experience. At SEEK, she focuses on financial accounting, project controlling and operational tasks.
Prior to joining SEEK, Elke was an honorary consultant and auditor for SOS Méditerranée, a humanitarian organization for rescuing lives in the Mediterranean Sea. She was also an honorary board member of the Business and Professional women (BPW) Germany, which initiated the Equal Pay Day in the country. Previously, Elke worked in financial controlling for multiple corporations in Germany. She started her career at a start-up where she gained her first experience in team leadership and developed expertise in controlling, accounting and finance.
Elke holds a Diploma in Economics from the University of Regensburg in Germany.
